Thanks to indirect, derivative temperature measurement on the outside of the application, these miniature surface temperature sensors offer significant cost and installation advantages over traditional immersion sensors.

This product series differentiates itself by an extremely broad selection of measurement elements (NTC, PTC, RTD etc.), the electrical connector, and the means of connecting the sensor mount to the application.

Besides the standard (single) model featuring one measurement element for use as either a controller or a safety sensor, there are also models with two separate measurement elements (duplex) for use as a combined controller and safety sensor.

Typical domestic and industrial applications include regulating temperature and controlling safety in central heating systems and boilers, heat exchangers, air conditioning equipment and heat pumps.
